The ProWide study evaluates the effect of remote electronic symptom monitoring in patients with lung cancer. The project is a national randomized controlled study, in which eight of ten. Danish Cancer Departments participate.
The status of the ProWide study is that the trial has ended. The results were presented at an oral presentation at ASCO 2023. The study has now been accepted for publication at JCO Oncology Practice.
The register based sub-study, has been initiated and will compare socioeconomic differences between participants in the study population with a comparable population of patients with lung cancer. Waiting for publication.
Two qualitative sub-studies have been conducted. One has been published, the next is in submission process. The last has been delayed because the person responsible has changed job.
